If/Then: a ‘conditional’ statement

To take the name of the musical now showing at the Durham Performing Arts Center:

If DPAC-goers park in the street parking by the jail,

Then we have to park farther away, and might be late for our visit.

DPAC people don’t know where they’re supposed to park. We’re not allowed to park in the garages when there’s a show, because that’s just for people going there. These people hate us, and the people inside so much, and then they take our parking spots over here, and we have to park way far away.
