I’m doing ok. I appreciate you taking the time to write me. I’m gonna get straight to the point, this place is so un-sanitary and un-organized it’s nerve-racking. There is throw-up on almost every cell wall in every pod I have been to, which is — and –. I am guessing that the throw-up comes from addicts coming here and withdrawing or detoxing. We don’t have toilet brushes to clean out the fecal matter from the inside of the toilet bowl. The sink faucets are rusted and some have a green fungus forming in and around the hole the water comes out of and sometimes the water comes out goldish-brown. The commissary never comes on time and is always a whole day late. The man named “Bull” is always getting people’s orders wrong and then not bringing the forgotten things back until days later, or not at all,and I have experienced this personally more than once.

There are gnats really bad in and around the shower areas, they land on and near you repeatedly while showering. The food trays are disgusting and are unsanitary, with leftover food from who knows when!

I also want to let you all know we never get the full 8 hours we’re supposed to get out of our cells because we come out at 9:00-12:45 and then again at 4:00-6:45, which is 6 hours and 30 minutes. Then, too, we never come out on time, for example we were let out around 10:50 and they do this at least 3 times a week and they never replace the time they have taken. And last week we didn’t come out at all in morning for one of those days and never got our time back and whenever we question why this is going on we are told nothing or given no reason at all. The officers that work here are really power-struck and in my opinion are out to make name/status for themselves here amongst us inmates. The hot water doesn’t work in most of the cells. I hope this letter helps in any way possible, and thanks for everything.
